A Day In The Life Of... Add Comment »

Many people can’t believe how much I get done in a day. Well, you don’t make 6 figures a year sitting around twiddling your thumbs. Earning a living online takes hard work…lots of it. Anyway, I was asked what my typical day is like. Honestly, I don’t have a typical day because I am involved in so many things. But here’s an example of how crazy my day can be.

The day I wrote this, I got up at 7 AM and immediately got to work. I eat breakfast as I work at my PC. I start my morning my doing my advertising. I use mostly FFA Hosting and safelists that I send to in the early AM. It takes me about an hour to complete these tasks.

I then start my article writing for Ezine Articles and the many guest blogs that I write for. This usually takes me up until lunch time. Today, however, there were a few wrinkles in the plan. See, I just started a mentoring program for which I now have 12 students. I heard from about six of them today. It was a real crazy day keeping up with assignments.

While all this was going on, I was also working on my new project with a member of the Warrior Forum. We’re working on a new membership site that we’re hoping to finish up by June. In the last three days, I finished up three different workbooks for this site.

And then there are the customer service emails from people who have purchased products from me. I always support all the products I sell. So that means answering questions when they arise. I try to always get back to people within 24 hours.

In addition to this, I moderate 2 forums. It’s not a lot of work and it does have its perks. Being a moderator for a forum that doesn’t have a ton of traffic is nice. I’d never do it at the Warrior Forum though because I’d probably burn out in a day…even with all I can do.

In the meantime, I’m always brainstorming to try to come up with new products. This is an ongoing process that never stops. Sometimes I’ll think of things in the middle of the night. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve woken up my wife with yet another brainstorm.

My day usually ends at about 10:30 when I take pity on the rest of the family and agree to go to sleep.

So when people ask me how I am so successful, I tell them simply, “I work hard.”

There’s no secret to success and making money online. It’s just a lot of hard work and knowing what you’re doing.

Oh yes…you DO need to know what you’re doing.

To YOUR Success,

Getting Back Into The Swing Of Things

The Diary Of... Add Comment »

Thankfully today we are having a better day with Corey (refer to last post) and I am in a good mood to get some work done today.  And thank goodness that the heat wave that we have been having has finished.  I am in Adelaide in South Australia and we have just experienced the longest recorded heatwave ever for an Australian city.  We had temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees celcius for 15 days straight (I think that’s about 100 to 105 farenheit).

Yesterday I typed up about three articles and submitted them to a couple of directories so hopefully today I might get a few more done.

I have so many blogs that it’s hard to keep them all up to date - but not impossible.  I’m working on one topic this week until I get about 30 articles written on that topic - which is blogging.  I am using the articles to link back to my free report at http://www.blackspiderblogging.com and also to link to my sons blog at http://www.black-spider.info.

It really is a weird name for a blogging blog and ebook but that is what Lachlan came up with and the theme so I just had to work with it.

Anyway, I’ve done about 6 articles all up for that so I have a few more to go yet.  I am also posting the articles to his blog, even though I should really change them a little before posting them to the blog.  I will be keeping my new blog http://www.my-beautiful-boy.com up to date on a daily basis hopefully as this is my ‘therapy’.  So these are my main goals at the moment.  I did run a free WSO (Warrior Special Offer on the Warrior forum) for my Black Spider Blogging report and had about 300 people download it which was quite good.

I currenly have another WSO running giving one of my own reports that I’ve made money with for the last 18 months with PLR rights at a very good price.  I’m only offering 40 copies and I think there are about 17 left at this stage so they are selling quite fast.  I tossed up whether to offer this as it has been a very good money making report for me and I didn’t want too many people to have it, which is why I limited it to 40 copies and once they are gone I wont sell it again.  http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=228773

Ok, well I’m off to go and get some articles written before heading off to the bank to deposit my Clickbank check.

Avery Berman - You Are A Legend!

A Day In The Life Of..., Making Money Online Add Comment »

Avery Berman has written on this blog as a guest blogger and I have mentioned him once or twice since.  Avery wrote this post on the Warrior Forum today and so I just wanted to share it with you……

Warriors… before I go to bed I feel I want to make this post.I just took a step back a few minutes ago, and an overwhelming feeling of euphoria, accomplishment and satisfaction came over me.
As I stared at my inbox, looking at several “CB SALE” and “Payment Received” notifications, I came to a realization.

I’ve really done it.

About 7 months ago, I told myself I was going to succeed online, no matter what it took, no matter how long it took.
Here I am, just 7 short months later, and I’ve done it.

I make my full-time income online.
I’m only 18, and I never have to hold down a “real job.”
I will be the one hiring.
It only goes up from here.

I just wanted to make this post to say, again, Warriors… everyone… ANYONE can do this… and it feels damn amazing when you realize that you’ve succeeded.

To everyone who’s where I am, pat yourselves on the back and realize that you have reached your goals. (Which will only get bigger from now on.)

For all of you that haven’t yet… YOU WILL MAKE IT!

The only way you will EVER fail… is if you stop trying.

Never stop trying. Never give up. You will succeed. End of discussion

Well done Avery, you have done well.

You find out exactly how Avery has made his success at ‘Super Successful Secrets’.

Have You Heard Of Avery Berman?

Making Money Online Add Comment »

Today I want to talk about a young lad by the name of Avery Berman.  If you have visited my blog before then you may have read my previous post that was written by Avery as a guest blogger.  That was when I first met Avery when he volunteered to give me a guest post about a day in his life as an Internet Marketer.

Avery is an 18 year old Internet Marketer and he actually started making money online when he was just 13 years of age and now at the ripe old age of 18 he is doing extremely well.

I found Avery’s story really interesting and I couldn’t resist finding out more about his story and how he makes his money online.  That’s when he showed me his product ‘Super Successful Secrets’ and now I have gotten to know some of Avery’s strategies and techniques that he uses to make money online.  I must say he really does have some very good ideas and strategies for his online business.

The good thing about someone so young is that they have great imaginations and can come up with techniques and strategies that someone of my age just doesn’t think of.  So even though he is only 18 he can really offer some fantastic advice and he tells it in an amazing way.

I have gotten to know Avery a bit since he was a guest on my blog and he really is an awesome guy and you’d be just as impressed as I was with his story, it really is worth a read.

So if you haven’t heard of Avery Berman, trust me you are going to want to and you can do so right here.  I hope you get the same benefits that I did from reading his amazing story.

Thanks for visiting and Take Care
Sheryl

PS. As his new found friend, Avery has given me the opportunity to let you know about his product before he raises the ‘new product launch’ price to the normal price, so if you want to grab a copy get it before he puts the price up.  You can get it right here.

Tip Of The Day - Stop And Smell The Roses

Tips Of The Day... Add Comment »

Do you ever find yourself working all day without a break?

Do you ever feel like you are missing a lot of your life because you just spend all your time on you computer?

It’s time to Stop And Smell The Roses!

I often find myself spending way too much time working on my computer and not enough time with my family and enjoying all the little important things in life.

After all isn’t the reason we want to earn an income online so that we can work less hours and spend more time with our families.  So it really is important to make sure that you do because it really doesn’t take long before you realise that a year has gone by and you feel like you haven’t done too much with your family.

Last year we took six months off and travelled around Australia.  Well, half of Australia, we started where we live in Adelaide and went up the centre of Australia up to Darwin stopping at Ayers Rock and Alice Springs on the way.  We spent a couple of months in Darwin and then headed over to North Queensland where we spent about 10 weeks in Cairns and then headed down the East coast before coming back to Adelaide.

Anyway what has all this got to do with ’stopping to smell the roses’?  When we were away we didn’t have anyone stay in our house but our neighbour, my Mum and my husbands parents all kept an eye on the place.  Every time we spoke to them on the phone or received emails they would always rave on about how nice our roses are looking.  We have a pathway that goes through the centre of our front garden and it is lined on both sides with red standard roses (Sir Donald Bradman Rose - that is one of our roses in the picture).  We constantly heard about how our roses were in full bloom and have never looked so good.  Of course when we come home my Mum had pruned all the roses so there were none for us too see.

We have been home for about seven weeks now and yesterday I noticed a rose and today there are three.  Our roses are starting to bloom again and they look lovely.  On the way home this morning after taking the kids to school I walked right past the roses and got to the front door and I stopped and turned around.  That’s when I thought, I really never take time to really stop and smell the roses.  So I went back and I did and they smell beautiful.

I know the saying is not necessarily to literally smell roses but to just take the time and do the little special things in life is so important.  And if you do have roses, make sure you do smell them every now and then.

You will be amazed at how much more you will achieve with your work when you come back to it after taking a little break and getting away from it for a while.  So don’t get too wrapped up in your internet marketing and always take the time to smell the roses.

The Diary of An Internet Marketer - Feb 18 (I think)

The Diary Of... Add Comment »

Today I had Lachlan home from school as he wasn’t feeling too good this morning with a blocked nose and headache.  He picked up fairly quickly though and probably would have been ok to go to school.

Today I purchased a WSO (I really need to stay out of the WSO section) it was a review website already made up promoting a particular product. As soon as I saw the product I liked the idea as I’ve seen this product do well for a colleague in the past, so when I saw an already made website for it I couldn’t help myself.  I did some keyword research and there is a ton of searches and keywords to use.

The only thing I had to do with the website was to change the affiliate links to my own and upload it to a domain name which I purchased.  I have written one article and submitted it to a couple of article directories and have also set up a ppc campaign.  So fingers crossed this will do well.  I shouldn’t need to do to much other than drive traffic to the site which I will mainly do through article marketing.

I actually managed to finish another article order and have two more to go. I wish I could be more focused and get stuck into them instead of getting sidetracked and looking through the WSO section.

We had aquantance night at school tonight which I wasn’t going to go to but the kids talked me into it.  Worked out well since they had a bbq there so it saved me cooking tea (I hate cooking).

Well, heading off to bed now.  I do feel like I have been a bit productive today which is good.  I hope you have had a productive day also, goodnight.

The Diary Of An IM- Struggling On With A Shocking Headache

The Diary Of... 2 Comments »

I’ve missed a couple of days diary entries but I have had the worst headache for the last couple of days.  I’ve been struggling along and have been working on these articles orders although they have taken me much longer than they should have.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I just can’t seem to focus on my article writing lately.  I’ve had one of those weeks when I just don’t feel like I’m getting anywhere and sometimes I wonder if it’s all worth it.

Do you ever have days like that?  When you think about all the hours and all the effort that you put into your internet marketing business and just wonder if it’s all worth it.

I don’t know what it is but something just keeps me going and wont allow me to quit.  I don’t know if it’s the determination that one day it all will pay off or if it’s just that I can’t let my husband say ‘I told you so’.

I made a post a couple of days ago about being organised and I know that is one huge problem of mine.  I really need to set up a daily routine and try to get my internet marketer work done while the kids are at school and learn to just turn the computer off when they get home.  I feel like I neglect the children a bit because I spend too much time on this computer.

I couldn’t even tell you how much I’m making monthly, I should sit down and work it out.  I am so disorganised that I don’t even have all my financial records in order.  I really should do that, maybe if I had the actual figure of what I was making each month then I could set a goal to increase that a little each month.

I have about three more article orders to get through and I really should just get stuck into them and get them out the way so I can concentrate on my own work.  The only problem is that if I wasn’t doing this writing for others then I wouldn’t be earning all that much.

Today I installed Adwords Analyzer on my laptop. I had it on my old computer so I copied the file over to my laptop and installed it but it’s just not working right.  It’s really been peeving me off too I hate when you just can’t get something to work properly and you spend way too much time on it trying to get it to work.  I need to do some keyword research on some of my work and although there are free keyword research tools they just aren’t as good.

Ok, well I’m going to go and try and get some sleep.

A Day In The Life Of An Internet Marketer - Avery Berman

A Day In The Life Of... 2 Comments »

Hey what’s up? My name’s Avery Berman, and I’m an 18 year old Internet Marketer. I got started when I was 13, and it’s actually
a pretty crazy story…

(If you want to see the video about that crazy journey, I invite you to sign up on my squeeze page at http://www.supersuccessfulsecrets.com/ . The first email I send has the video with the story in it.)

Oh, you want a teaser? Alright, alright, just because you are so cool.

When I was 13 years old I played a game called The Sims Online, which was a MMORPG, or a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. This means that there were literally thousands of people playing the game together at the exact same time, interacting with each other.

I learned quickly that I was very good at making money (or simoleons, as they called it) and that I could go to eBay and sell my virtual cash for REAL cash!

So, at the age of 13 I was making hundreds of dollars selling fake money online.

Obviously through eBay I discovered “make money online” schemes, and my Dad gave me his credit card number…

That’s all you get! If you want to see the whole story in video form check out my site above! (I know, I know, it’s a shameless plug. Let me have it! ;) )

(Oh, and don’t worry, there’s a happy ending!)

Anyway… a day in the life of Avery Berman, the Internet Marketer.

What a question!

Well, I am currently attending College, but because my work (Internet Marketing of course) is more important to me in my eyes, I am attending class two days a week so I have time to work on my latest projects.

So, without further ado, here is the day in the life of Avery Berman on a day when he doesn’t have classes!

THE DAY BEGINS!

I wake up around 11:00 to 11:30 AM after getting a full nights sleep of about 8-10 hours. (Waking up refreshed every day rocks, by the way.)

I get out of bed, turn on my computer which is in my room, and walk to the bathroom. I wash up after the night to wake up completely, then go downstairs and make myself some breakfast.

I walk upstairs with my breakfast and sit at my computer. I immediately open up way to many tabs on Firefox and start the “workday.” (I hate using the word work for this, because it’s so fun.)

Before anything I open iTunes and start listening to awesome music…

Then it begins…

I first check my email to see if there are any pressing problems. I then check the many forums I frequent to see if there are any awesome topics that arouse my attention or if my topics have been replied to.

(I know I should probably do my real work first, but hey I need my leisure time… even though I get a lot of it.)

I then leave the forums and my email open and open a new tab with my website stats or whatever project I’m working on.

I then will open Frontpage (I like it better than Dreamweaver) and open up my websites or whatever I am working on at the moment and start writing and changing it all up!

After a few hours or until I get a lot of stuff done, I’ll start doing some social networking stuff or other methods of traffic. Perhaps make a video. I do whatever I need to currently to get traffic to my page.

I’ll check adwords or adbrite and see how the conversions are going.

By this time I’ll usually have YouTube open because I was checking the stats on my videos, and then I’ll start getting addicted and checking out videos all over the place.

Now, by this time it’s usually getting late (maybe around 6) and my girlfriend will start calling me and telling me to come over and see her and stop working.

I usually give in, and stop working and go see her.

I’ll then get home around 10:30 to 11:00 PM and check my email again and resume everything I was doing before.

I’ll be talking on AIM, MSN and Skype to all my friends and fellow Internet Marketers about what’s going on in my business and sharing ideas.
(I’m a cool guy… if you’re interested in talking with me you can reach me at avenator3000 on AIM… just don’t spam me, alright? :) )

Around 1-3 AM I’ll go to bed.

It usually ends up being around 2, even though I tell myself at around 12:30 that “I should be getting ready for bed now!”

I then twist in turn in bed for anywhere from 5 minutes to another hour, thinking about all the great new ideas I have to make money now that I’m nowhere near my computer and trying to fall asleep.

And thus ends a day in the life of Avery Berman!

I hope you’ve received a least a bit of entertainment out of this little story, and maybe even a little motivation!

Just remember… if a lazy 18 year old can do it…

Later all you crazy people!

-Avery Berman

P.S. Hey, remember to check out how I got started in VIDEO (Oooohhhh) if you want a cool watch.
